About Mother Seton Inter Parochial School This parish and school has had a long and proud history of providing quality Catholic Education to the residents of Hudson County since 1863. On October 9, 1991, Sts. Joseph and Michael School was renamed Mother Seton Parochial School after Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton who was at the forefront of Parochial Education. In September 2005, Mother Seton became the Inter Parochial School of the Parishes of Sts. Joseph & Michael and St. Anthony of Padua. Mother Seton Inter Parochial School is a continuation of the long standing commitment to Catholic Education in Union City.
Our Mission Statement Guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ in tradition and wisdom preserved and carried on by the Catholic Church, Mother Seton Inter Parochial School provides its children with a quality education and, through the transmission of faith, enables them to follow the path of Jesus Christ. Our school strives to prepare its students to grow in mind and heart, in wisdom and compassion, in faith and gentleness through the Eucharist and participation in the life of the church.
